Now that I'm in Monroe, I wish I were back in Dearborn. I miss my friends. I really want to play in the snow, so I'm definitely itching to come back home. My brother is coming over tomorrow, so when he leaves I'm going to ask him if he'll take me.
I've been watching Are You Afraid of the Dark? on youtube for hours. I remember this show scared me shitless when I was little. Now it's corny, but I still love it. :x
I can't wait until Peter's birthday party on wednesday!!!

I feel like such a bad person. Such a horrible, horrible american. See, I cannot stand this country. I feel awful just writing that down, because I'm afraid like some crazy government agency will see this and kill me or something. Too much 1984! But seriously, sometimes I'm ashamed to say that I am an american.
And that's sad.
Really, really, really sad.
You should have pride for where you were born. You should defend your country, and you should love it and you shouldn't feel like me because I hate it so much and I want to get out as soon as possible.
I'm not even joking. I don't know what I'm doing for college, but I know that when I graduate with whatever degree I decide to go for, I am moving to Europe. I just have to get out.
That thought might change as I get older, but I highly doubt it. I've always hated this country. The government is not for the people anymore. They're too concerned with other stupid fucking shit that I cannot stand because it's ridiculous and since when should the Bible, something not all of us believe in, run our people? SInce when is America no longer the "land of the free"? I thought we came here to get away from opressors but gee, I sure feel fucking opressed (repressed? GOSH I don't even know what I'm trying to say I'm so mad).
The world as I see it is becoming more and more of an Orwellian society than I think people care to admit. But it's fucking true. It's true and we need to get our country together before telescreens start popping up in every room -- but wait our phone lines are being tapped into isn't that reletively the same thing? And hey, isn't the government taking Tom Sawyer out of schools because it's racist? So we're going to pretend shit like that never happened even though everyone fuckings KNOWS it still goes on.
Okay, gay marriages aren't legal but oh what's that? Everyone should be treated equally? Doesn't the fucking Bible say that? Doesn't God love his children? But oh that's right I forgot - NOT EVERYONE IS CHRISTIAN SO WHY SHOULD EVERYONE LIVE UNDER CHRISTIAN BELIEFS?
